[TO THE SOARINDASH FANS!]

"Dash you here?"
"Mhm.."
"Where?"
Soarin looked in all directions for the rainbow maned mare. She really couldn't be that hard to find, but yet she was nowhere in sight.
She seemed to have noticed this confusion and walked into the living room where he was standing.
He was sitting on the cloud couch, apparently had given up on finding her. The fire crackled, giving a nice, warm, and cozy feeling to her gigantic cloud home.
"Why are you here tonight?" Rainbow asked, tilting her head in curiosity.
"I just saw the most beautiful thing in the world!" Soarin exclaimed, grabbing her cyan hoof.
"That's the last thing I thought you would say." She giggled as he pulled her out of her cloud home.
The breeze was gently blowing on the two ponies who stood on Rainbow Dash's porch. The rainbow juice dripped down from various windows, landing in the large pool around the edges of her home. The splashing sound rumbled throughout their ears, the sound of rainbows splashing on rainbows. You didn't hear that often unless you came to Rainbow's house often.
"Me too." He chuckled pulling her into the dry night air.
The sun was setting, the sky the deep dark colors of a fire. It was an amazing sight, Rainbow had to admit. It was like... half of the rainbow. Which it was. But yet it looked amazing. She had never seen a sunset such as this one. She had never acually admired a sunset, yet taking more than a second to look at it.
"Wow, that is beau- pretty." She mumbled, cutting herself off from saying such a word.
Soarin chuckled and used his lightblue hoof to guide Rainbow to a comfortable cloud. The cloud was nice and puffy, like the ones Rainbow used for her afternoon naps. This one however, looked much nicer than others. Just something about it stood out.
So many things rambled through out Rainbow's mind as he did this. Why would he take her someplace 'pretty' and romantic? Why was he being so kind and gentle to her? He was usually up to challenge to to a race, or to tease her with mean and playful words. But this was.. Different.
"Dash? You alright?" Soarin asked, waving a blue hoof in front of her face, making her snap out of her thoughts.
"Yeah." She mumbled, her bright magenta eyes not meeting his strong and gentle gaze.
Rainbow and Soarin landed on the cloud, making a soft noise that sounded like *pomph*
"Soarin?" Rainbow asked after minutes of unbearable and awkward silence.
"Yeah?" He asked, looking at the beautiful mare, who was still not looking at him.
"Why did you bring me here?" Rainbow asked.
"I just thought it looked nice." He replied with a grin. This grin was unlike himself, like a whole different pony.
However, Rainbow didn't buy it. He seemed somewhat normal, but hiding something all the same.
"Yeah, it is beautiful." Rainbow mumbled, silently cursing herself for her choice of words.
Soarin chuckled, noticing her furious angry expression.
They sat silently, the sun setting slower than anything in the world. Ponies all around were kissing, a small treat for their late night date. Sure this was romantic, but Soarin couldn't possibly be considering them as.. a level more than friends? Rainbow personally wouldn't mind being more than friends with Soarin. He was sweet and kind, but she really never considered dating.
The air began to get chillier, the wind blowing more furiously then when they had first came. It was cold, but Rainbow was nervous to ask. What if he didn't mean 'that' by inviting her here. Maybe it was simply just for the view. Right?
Rainbow wrapped her hooves around him faster than she could think herself. She did this as if to say 'I'll keep you warm, if you will do the same for me'.
Soarin got the message and wrapped his wings around her slim and muscular body, pulling them closer together then they ever had been before.
Both ponies blushed furiously, Rainbow Dash looking at him for the first time since they had even sat onto the comfortable cloud.
Soarin looked at the mare he loved so much, but had never had the courage to tell her how he felt or ruin their friendship. Her rainbow mane almost glowed in the moonlight, her cheeks were almost as rosey as her beautiful magenta eyes, her cyan coat looked dark and glossy from the radiant moon's beam. She was beautiful.
During Soarin's little daydream he felt something soft hitting him. But it wasn't painful, it was more pleasant. It felt soft and sweet. He couldn't place the many feelings he was feeling into one thing. He couldn't explain what was happening, he didn't know what was happening.
He opened his emerald colored eyes seeing the mare closer to him than he thought. Her eyes were closed and facing him. But was this another dream? Was his mind playing tricks on him?
Before Soarin could place his thoughts, he found himself kissing the mare back. The kissing became more passionate, their lips not shied away from eachother. The feelings no longer a secret.
~
"Looks like the big dipper." Rainbow whispered, nuzzling Soarin softly as they gazed up at the silver twinkling stars.
"Don't forget the little dipper." He whispered, his wings still keeping her nice and toasty.
After a while there was no response, and he looked down to see the rainbow maned mare snoring peacefully. He loosened up his tight grasp on her, trying to make sleeping more comfortable for the pony. But a small nap sounded really good right now..
He rested his head on top of hers, letting his own snores escape his mouth as he whispered,
"I love you Dashie."
:):)A small gift to my SoarinDash buddies!:):)

A small little fanfic. So short! D;

Anyways, I made this one a little bit more detailed than my others, which is making me more pleased with the story entirely. I should really use details more often!
